Criteria for - LIFE MEMBERSHIP
- Hudson Memorial Winner
- Played a minimum of 250 games with Fremantle Hockey Club
- Preferably currently active within the club.
Nomination Process
A nomination for the award (in the form of a motion) is put before the General Committee for resolution. If carried, the motion is then presented to the club members at an appropriately convened A.G.M.
Traditionally nominations have come from past Life Members.
Note that Life Membership may automatically qualify the recipient for the CA Faulds award.
Trophy
Gold Plated Medallion cast from the Fremantle Hockey Club Mould.
(the mould is usually kept in the Trophy cabinet at FHC)
Not awarded annually

Criteria for C.A.FAULDS AWARD
- Life Membership
- Hudson Memorial Winner
- Played a minimum of 400 games for the club
Nomination Process
Suggested that the club records officer and Life Membership committee review pending winners and monitor progress. The likely scenario upon receiving Life Membership the winner has already qualified by winning the Hudson and playing 400 games.
Trophy
A gold bar that attaches to the Life Member Medallion.

Criteria HUDSON MEMORIAL TROPHY (SENIORS)
For services on and off the field:
- Preferably played a minimum of 150 games
- Currently active within the club
- Should be evaluated over a period of 5 years minimum
- Cannot be won twice
Nomination Process
Form a sub-committee that comprises of the last 3 winners. The new winner will replace the least recent winner in next year’s committee.
Trophy
Large Perpetual Trophy and smaller replica awarded at the end of year wind-up. The Perpetual Trophy is to remain in the Clubrooms trophy cabinet.
Not necessarily awarded annually.

Criteria for KAREECE HUDSON-BROWN / GOLDEN STICK AWARD
Awarded to the club’s highest goalscorer for the season from any grade:
- The scorer of the most goals in a season subject to the following
- Only one game/week will count in the final tally
- If a player scores in two or more games in the same week (as defined by WAHA/WAWHA then only the team in which he/she has scored the most goals for the season shall count towards the tally
- Challenge Cups or other finals matches will not count towards the final tally.
- Can be won more than once
Nomination Process
The Club Records Officer shall apply the above rules to all players and in the event of missing records ascertain who the goalscorers were for those games.
Trophy
Perpetual Trophy and smaller replica to be awarded at the Senior Wind-up. The Perpetual Trophy will remain in the Club’s Trophy cabinet. Awarded annually.

Criteria for R (BOB) KERNAGHAN SHIELD
Services to the club from non-playing members:
- Can be awarded to the same person more than once
- Preferable to be awarded to a new recipient each year.
Nomination Process
General Committee to form a sub-committee to decide upon a recipient. Look also at junior parents/committee as well as non-playing partners of seniors.
Trophy
Large Perpetual Trophy and smaller cup awarded at the Senior Wind-up. The Perpetual Trophy to remain in the clubrooms trophy cabinet.
Should be awarded annually.

For services on and off the field:
- Be active within the junior structure. Example umpiring, coaching etc.
- Cannot be won twice
Nomination Process
Nomination is left to the junior committee…However consideration must be given to when the junior committee is entirely new and is not aware of the award.

Large Perpetual Trophy and smaller replica awarded at the junior wind-up or senior wind-up if attending (or both)
