You are cordially invited to participate in the inaugural 'Diwali Junior 5's Hockey Carnival', hosted by the Western Australian Sikh Sports Club and Fremantle Cockburn Hockey Club. Set to be the highlight of the summer hockey season and a dazzling celebration of Diwali!

Get Involved With The Festive Fun: Enjoy Diwali-themed activities, traditional Sikh folk dancing, Mehndi tattoos, and a chance to experience the festival of lights in a whole new way.

Exciting Junior Hockey Matches: Clubs, schools and community groups are all welcome to enter. Fast paced 5-a-side games will play out on quarter size fields across 4 categories : Under 14 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 17 Boys, Under 17 Girls.

Delicious Delights: The FCHC canteen will be open with scrumptious food and treats that will keep your energy high and your taste buds dancing.

Let’s make this Diwali sparkle with the magic of hockey! Don't miss out on this amazing day – we'll see you at the Bateau Turf for a celebration like no other!

EVENT DETAILS

- 4 categories : Under 14 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 17 Boys, Under 17 Girls.

- 5-a-side tournament (max squad of 8 players). 12 minute games.

- Played on quarter fields - no sideline (play on from field partitions).

- No goal keepers. No hitting. No raised balls. Score from anywhere.

- Round Robin format with grand final and trophies/medals.

- Diwali multi-cultural celebrations.

- Full canteen facilities available.

- Perth Thundersticks player appearances.
